Doug Bennett, the MD of DB Wealth Planning and Preservation, was struggling visually with his company image. And, if you have ever met Doug you’ll know he is fun and approachable, but also serious about his business and clients’ financial goals and aspirations. He didn’t want his image to be seen as pinstripes and conservative colours, so we created a dynamic logo and bold palette that reflected his personality.
We also looked into a contemporary sans serif typeface and strapline and how the logo could be simplified for favicons and social media and introduced a lifestyle image library that was people led and wasn’t based on clichéd financial stock images ie. worried couple sitting with a frowning financial advisor.
By taking the time to get a solid brief and outline of what the client wanted to achieve from the start and saved us considerable time.
